Application
CEIBS Alumni who want to borrow books from the Library's collection may apply for the CEIBS Alumni library account. Alumni applicant needs to bring the former student card or alumni card to the library with RMB 1,500.00 as deposit. Applications can be made for the Alumni library account during our opening hours on weekdays at the Library Information Desk. For those who no longer wish to enjoy borrowing privileges, this deposit is refundable once all borrowed books are returned and any outstanding fines are fully paid up. An alumni account can borrow up to 4 books at one time for 28 days and books can be renewed if no holdings on the books. Electronic resource services are not provided for alumni patrons.

Please send a copy of your receipt together with your application package. No application will be considered without the fully paid deposit fee.

Regulations
Alumni library account is issued to individuals upon verification of personal identification and status. The barcode is not transferable.
Individuals must show their student card/alumni card with a barcode when borrowing books.
Each alumni account may borrow 4 books (except reference and reserved books) for 4 weeks. Another 4-week-renewal is allowed only when no one else has reserved the book. When a book is needed for a teaching course or some emergency, the loan period is automatically shortened and the borrower will be notified of the new due date. Overdue fines are RMB 0.3 per day. Fines must be cleared before borrowing books.
The borrowing privilege may be revoked or suspended if abused by the user.

Matters not mentioned here are subject to being handled in accordance with CEIBS Library borrowing policy.
